Donation Refund & Cancellation Policy

Our commitment

If you give to Knights of the Higher Order Ministries and something isn't right — you gave by mistake, changed your mind, or the gift didn't go the way you expected — call or email us. We'll make it right. We'd rather refund a gift than keep one that doesn't sit well with the person who gave it.

How giving works today

We don't yet process gifts through this website. The "Become a Knight" and "Legacy Donations" buttons open an email to us; from there, a gift is made by check, in person, or by direct arrangement — never by entering card details into this site. Everything below describes how refunds and cancellations work for gifts made this way.

Requesting a refund

To ask for a refund of a gift, contact us:

Tell us your name, roughly when you gave, and why you're asking. We'll refund a gift made by check or by arrangement within 30 days of your request, using the same method you gave or another method we agree on together. You don't need an account or a login to ask — this site doesn't have logins at all.

Become a Knight and the T-shirt

A "Become a Knight" gift of $25 or more includes a Knights of the Higher Order T-shirt. That changes what a refund covers:

• If your shirt hasn't shipped yet, we'll refund your full gift, no questions asked.
• If your shirt has already been sent, we'll still refund your gift in full as a one-time courtesy. We may ask you to keep the shirt rather than mail it back, since the cost of return shipping usually isn't worth it. We'd rather absorb the cost of a shirt than argue with someone who gave to us in good faith.

Recurring gifts

We don't currently offer recurring (automatic, repeating) giving through this website. If and when we do, these terms will apply:

• You can cancel or change a recurring gift at any time, for any reason, without ever needing to log in anywhere.
• Cancel by calling 689-123-4567 or emailing Knightsofthehigherorder@gmail.com. We'll confirm your cancellation and the date it takes effect.
• Cancelling stops future gifts. It doesn't undo a gift already processed — ask us about that specific gift if you'd like a refund, using the section above.
• There's no cancellation fee and no minimum commitment.

Legacy Donations

A Legacy Donation, made through a will, living trust, or beneficiary designation, is arranged directly with you and can be changed or revoked the same way any part of your estate plan can be. Talk to the professional who helped you set it up, or contact us and we'll help however we can.
